Application:
The Nexans Essential-6 keystone connectors are manufactured and testedto the latest Category 6 specifications. They support Class E applicationsup to 250 MHz. When installed in conjunction with Essential-6 cable andpatch panels, a 20 year Class E Link Certificate can be obtained from theNexans web site.
Design:
The Essential-6 keystone connectors are designed to match withEssential-6 cable and patch cords and all Essential-6 modularcomponents, such as empty keystone patch panels (N521.660 : white andN521.660BK : black) and keystone faceplates, available in both UK andEuropean format (25x50mm : N423.650 and 22.5x45mm : N423.645).
The modular jack is designed for keystone footprints of 14.78mm width,20-20.78mm height and 1.5mm wall thickness and therefore fits into avariety of keystone formatted structural hardware available on the market.(Please check compatibility with Nexans before using 3rd party hardware)
The Essential-6 connectors can be used with all types of Category 6 cablewith solid wire from 22 to 24 AWG.
Performance:
The Essential-6 keystone connectors are compliant with the specificationsof ISO/IEC 11801: 2002.
Installation:
The wire organiser guarantees fast and easy termination of the Essential-6keystone connector without the need for a punchdown tool. An optionalcomfort tool (N420.567) can be used to increase the ease of installation.
